Free Download: Chilean electro label Discos Pegaos presents Janaki’s Melodias Humanas EP

Over the last couple of years the Disco Pegaos record label has given us a stream of house and electro releases that show Chile’s underground dance scene to be home to a host of innovative artists. The latest comes in the form of Santiago producer and DJ Janaki, whose Melodías Humanas EP is now available as a free download from the label website.

While Janaki, aka Juan Eyzaguirre, has been known in Chilean clubland for a while now, largely thanks to remixes for Motivado & Kinética and 49hrtz, the EP is his first solo release. Unafraid to experiment or to prioritise melodic landscape over pure beats, the EP signals a promising new name in regional electro.
