Tiger’s Milk Records Presents ‘Insiders Guide to Lima’s Tropical Bass Scene’ [VIDEO]
08 October, 2015To promote their recent Peru Boom compilation, celebrating the new electronic music coming out of Lima, Tiger’s Milk Records have put together a new video, entitled Peru Boom – Insiders Guide To Lima’s Tropical Bass Scene.
Featuring artists from their compilation, including Tribilin Sound, Chakruna, Animal Chuki and Elegante & La Imperial, the video offers an insight into the creative processes and influences of these producers, all of whom are combining the technology and aesthetics of IDM, global bass and other modern dance styles with elements of their Peruvian heritage, such as cumbia and Andean folklore.
