One of the most exciting talents in London’s Latin music scene will be celebrating the release of her debut album at the Jazz Café for what is a must-see gig for anyone passionate about Latin jazz and Afro-Cuban traditions.
Fans of London collective Wara will be well aware of Eliane Correa, who is bandleader, composer, pianist and vocalist for the group. For this special show she will be joined by a 10-piece band including percussionists Gerardo de Armas (Yoruba Andabo, Gerardo & Su Rumbaché) and Will Fry (Jamiroquai, Roy Ayers) to perform songs from Rumba Con Flores, her debut release that was recorded between Havana and London. The album mixes jazz, Afro-Cuban rhythms, neo-soul and urban styles for a truly modern take on Latin music.
