19 October, 2011We’ve made no secret of our love for Karina Buhr. Her debut album Eu Mentí Pra Voce was our second favourite album of 2010, which is why we are so excited about the release of her new album Longe de Onde
Since Eu Mentí Pra Voce Karina has been touring a band which includes Edgard Scandurra and Fernando Catatau on guitars, André Lima on keys, Mau on bass, Bruno Buarque on drums and Guizado on trumpet, and it’s this line-up which constitute the band on Longe de Onde, an album that was recorded in Sao Paulo earlier this year with Karina, Bruno Buarque and Mau behind the controls.
For our thoughts on the album itself you will have to wait for our review. However, you can be sure this is one hell of an album, and you should probably download it right now!
