Luisa Maita announces North American tour

Since hearing Luísa Maita‘s delightful first single “Lero-Lero” we’ve been a little bit smitten with this lady, finding out about her history and ambitions as well as finding out what records have had a big influence on her; turns out Michael Jackson had an impact. So we’re delighted to announce that she has just announced a tour of USA, Canada and Mexico. It will be the first time the singer has performed outside of Brazil. The dates of the tour are:

November 6 – Townshend, VT, On the Ground in the Barn
November 7 – Burlington, VT, Flynn Space

November 10 – Somerville, MA, Johnny D’s
November 11 – Montreal, QC, Ballatou
November 12 – Toronto, ON, Lula Lounge
November 13 – Chicago, IL, Logan Square
November 14 – Minneapolis, MN, Cedar Cultural Center
November 16 – San Francisco, CA, Yoshi’s
November 17 – Santa Cruz, CA, Kuumbwa Jazz Center
November 19 – Los Angeles, CA, Conga Room
November 20 – Playa del Carmen, Mexico, Sonidos del Mundo Festival
