Pre-Order Lee Hodge’s ‘Murga’ A3 Giclée Print (Exclusive to Sounds and Colours)

By 17 August, 2016

We are now getting close to finishing our Sounds and Colours Argentina book and CD, with a current release date of mid-September. The book will be a 200-page collection of articles, illustrations and photos bringing Argentine culture to life, and you can found out more about it via our Indiegogo page.

As part of the crowdfunding campaign that gave birth to the Argentina book we offered various perks and one of these was to get an A3 Giclée Print of a brand new design from one of our favourite illustrators, Lee Hodges. Well, Lee has now finished the design, which you can see above, and we wanted to see if anyone else wanted to get their hands on a copy before it’s too late. We will only be printed a limited number of these so if you want to guarantee getting one we really recommend making a pre-order using the links below.

The design is based on the carnival tradition of murga which is found in both Argentina and Uruguay, as well as other countries in Latin America. It’s a theatrical tradition where musicians, dancers and singers dress up to perform satirical songs or simply to parade through the streets with drums and dancers.

All giclée prints will be shipped once the Sounds and Colours Argentina book is also ready, which will be mid-September (with provisional date of 19th September).
