Rock In Rio (Day Five)

A strange mix of artists on Rock In Rio‘s main stage: Shakira, Lenny Kravitz, Ivete Sangola, Jota Quest and Marcelo D2 was matched by some eclectic choices on the Palco Sunset stage which offered a wide variety of Brazil’s musical talent. For some reason Buraka Som Sistema and Mix Hell were the first up. Surely they should be the band you bring on at 2 in the morning!

The set was so funky Cibelle couldn’t help but get involved:

They were followed by Sao Paulo’s finest Céu and bossa/jazz veteran João Donato, an unlikely but great combo:

Sao Paulo rapper on the rise Emicida was up next, joining forces with Martinho da Vila and Cidade Negra:

Monobloco, with the help of Macaco and Pepeu Gomes, finished the night off:
