Rock In Rio (Day Four)

By 06 October, 2011

The fourth day of Rock In Rio was the first of the second weekend, and a day that saw Stevie Wonder on the main stage getting the entire audience to sing “The Girl From Ipanema.” As per previous days Palco Sunset was the place to hear new Brazilian music, as well as Joss Stone who vamped it up there too!

First up was singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Marcelo Jenici and drummer extraordinaire Curumin:

And in truth those guys were the best thing about day four, unless you went to see Janelle Monae on the main stage of course. However, Afrika Bambaataa did show his face before Joss Stone and then later Baile Do Simonal, Diogo Nogueira and Davi Moraes finished things off on the Palco Sunset stage.
