Three-Part Exhibition of Felix González-Torres’ Work in London, New York and Milan

By 20 May, 2016

The work of visual artist Felix González-Torres will be celebrated in a three-part exhibition, taking place at the Andrea Rosen Gallery in New York, Massimo De Carlo in Milan and Hauser & Wirth in London in May, June and July this year.

Each venue of the exhibition aims to offer a distinct and autonomous experience, but at the same time, it is intended to be perceived as part of a whole. Each gallery will focus on a dialogue within an essential body of Gonzalez-Torres’s oeuvre, offering a more expansive, complex conceptualisation of the artist’s practice.

Curated by the artists Julie Ault and Roni Horn, the exhibition will be the first solo presentation of the artist’s work in London since a survey at the Serpentine Galleries in 2000.

Τhe exhibition will run 27 May – 30 July in Hauser & Wirth and a private view will be held on Thursday 26 May.
