VIDEO: Zuzuka Poderosa: ‘Seda’

By 20 February, 2013

Brazilian carnival may be over, but the absolute fire coming from Brazil-via-Brooklyn’s Zuzuka Poderosa is showing no signs of letting up.

The ‘carioca bass’ sweetheart debuted her new video for the single, “Seda,” this month.

Shot in the Bronx, N.Y., the video features stunning designs from NYC/Nigerian designer Babatunde Ajiboye. The song touches on everything sexy about the natural mystic while advocating for the legalization of marijuana as there are, as she says in the song, “worse things happening to people because of its criminalization.”

Check out “Seda,” as remixed by Miami/NYC’s Jubilee and Burt Fox below.
