It’s multi-layered sound is both familiar and far-reaching, stretching out into new textures and sounds, while always keeping Mayorga’s beatific vocals and melodies at the heart of each song. It’s Mayorga’s fourth release (following two albums and an EP) in two years and shows an increased emphasis on pushing his sound as far as it can go, an admirable quality that has helped produce a release that will surely reveal new moments of joy on each listen.
