EXCLUSIVE: Empresarios Presents Playa Maravillosa Mix
03 April, 2012The Empresarios released their Bestia Remixed EP in February this year, gaining on the support they’d been getting for album release Sabor Tropical last year. With a live show lined up in Washington DC for April 20th they were keen to show their skills behind the decks, resulting in the Playa Maravilhoso Mix from Empresarios’ very own Sonny Cheeba, a mix which we are able to bring you exclusively on Sounds and Colours. If you want to find out what the “Tropicaliente” sound is all about then this is the place to start.

Coming later this spring from Empresarios will be the Volume EP, featuring four original, unreleased tracks. Before that, on Friday April 20th they will be playing in Washington, DC at the brand new Hamilton venue. Empresarios will headline with full live band, with Alma Tropicalia opening the night with their “psychedelic samba and Brazilian funk” sound.
