Violeta Castillo – Afilados
30 April, 2012After hearing Violeta Castillo‘s first two EPs we became instantly smitten with this new Argentine singer, writing an article about her music and also featuring her in an Argentine Female Singer special. This was off the strength of just one EP, so we became extremely excited recently when we found out she had a new release. Another EP, Horizonte is a live effort, recorded for Chile’s Radio Horizonte and including three songs from her first two EPs. Out of the original songs “Afilados” is a definite highlight and is featured in video form below, with a sound so smooth you wouldn’t even know this was recorded live. We just can’t wait for the album!
