Brazilian Hip-Hop Star Criolo Returns to London as Part of New European Tour

Criolo is undoubtedly one of the biggest musical stars to come out of Brazil in some time, an artist who doesn’t mix his words, who speaks from the heart, and who has an incredible live band of musicians behind him, capable of supporting his words whether he is heading into hip-hop, afrobeat, samba or experimental territory. For his third ever live show in London he will be supporting the legendary Ethiopian musician Mulatu Astatke.

Criolo’s album Nó Na Orelha is the album that earnt him his reputation. We loved it so much we voted it our favourite album of 2011. You can read our review of the album here. If his last appearances in London are anything to go by this is a show not to be missed.
