Full Line-Up Announced for the 22nd London Latin American Film Festival
2012 looks to be a strong year for the always-excellent London Latin American Film Festival with a wide-range of feature films, documentaries and shorts bringing Latin America to life. Included in this year’s programme are the hotly-tipped Uruguayan flick Reus, the Patagonia-set Not So Modern Times (Argentina/Chile) and Uomo, a new Argentine film depicting the strange but fulfilling relationship that grows between a married lawyer and a transvestite prostitute.
As well as a plethora of films from Mexico, Cuba and Central America there is a really strong selection of Latin American documentaries with Cocaine Unwrapped (UK/Bolivia/Colombia), Daughter (Chile) and Behind The Hills (Colombia/France) all highly recommended by ourselves.
