Hip Hop Revolución

This is another chance to catch Hip Hop Revolución, a documentary looking at a dynamic collective of musical revolutionaries, whose grassroots work and sharing of music and ideas shows a new perspective on the socio-political climate of Venezuela, as well as the power of music, community and rebellion.

The film will begin at 6.30pm and will be followed by the Q&A with the director Pablo Navarrete, Dr Francisco Dominguez (senior lecturer at Middlesex University, where he is head of the Centre for Brazilian and Latin American Studies, and secretary of the Venezuela Solidarity Campaign) and Stephanie Kennedy (journalist/former teleSUR English correspondent, as well as S&C contributor). Chaired by Shelly Asquith, Vice President Welfare, National Union of Students (NUS).
