Latin Voices Live, Brighton’s New Latin Festival
On Saturday November 17th, Brighton Museum and Brighton Dome will see the inaugural Latin Voices Live, a brand new one-day family festival celebrating Mexico’s Day Of The Dead and Latin culture in general. There will be live music, workshops, discussions, exhibitions, Latin food & drink as well as the presence of Sounds and Colours (we’ll be selling our Colombia book).
Latin Voices Live will take place from 10am and 5pm and is free entry all day with donations of £2/3 welcomed for workshops. Live music will come from Pollito Boogaloo, Luis Muñoz and Aida Berliavsky will be reading from recent books, there will be Mexican food & Latin cocktails for sale, Flamenco dancing and so much more. Luis Muñoz will be reading from his latest book Being Luis: a Chilean life, a book he will be signing as well as answering questions about. He will be at the Museum Education Pavilion from 3pm until 4pm.
