Mexico Has a Long Gambling History

Gambling has a long history in the country. It initially became popular because of the prohibition in the United States. Many Americans used to flock to Mexico during the 1920s to place their bets legally. However, gambling activities were banned in the country unfortunately in 1937. It has now picked up again after many of the sanctions were lifted.
