New Chilean Trap Video From Pvblo Chill-E

By 19 January, 2018

A notorious figure in the current Chilean trap scene, Pvblo Chill-E shows us the way forward in using the beats and flows of the contemporary rap sound, while taking time to think about the social context of the country, adding his point of view to discussions on the lay state, a rich versus poor judicial system and meritocracy. All of this of course with the language and sense of humor that is characteristic of the Santiago-based rapper.

The video, directed by Pol Lion, shows a polished and simple concept, black and white, symmetric, with Pvblo switching gears from church man to street thug to dressed straight. It gives just the right amount of drama to complement the power of the lyrics and the intense beat by Yung Xander and VH’s production.
