“Exclusive os Cabides”: A Sounds and Colours video première

Due to appear at Popload Festival in São Paulo on the 31st, which will include Kim Gordon and St. Vincent, up and coming Brazilian indie band Exclusive Os Cabides present their music video for “Pilha Eletrônica“. The band, from the island of Florianopolis in the south of Brazil, blend Brazilian seventies rock influences with a contemporary indie sensibility. 

“Pilha Eletrônica” is taken from their last album Coisas Estranhas, and the video was edited by members Eduardo Possa (guitar) and Carolina Werutski (drums). The footage was collaboratively captured by the band during a series of performances in cities across Brazil, and is a mix of lyric video, karaoke and daily vlog, and looks like someone had a lot of fun with the chroma key.

They’ve been working hard, sharing stages with indie stalwarts such as Terno Rei (SP), Boogarins (GO) and Holger (SP), so with this forthcoming appearance at the Popload Festival this could be a band worth keeping an eye on.
