Forests and Trails in Medellin, Colombia
Medellin is a dynamic city, where the hustle and bustle is constant and it can be hard to know what to do there. This city has several little-known attractions that are worth visiting.
One of them is the Arví Ecopark, which covers part of the municipalities of Bello, Guarne, Copacabana and Medellín. It has an area of 16 thousand hectares of natural forests and 54 km of walking trails. It also has archaeological remains, for example, the Pre-Hispanic Route is more than 1,500 years old and the Cieza de León Trail is one of its great routes.
