Some of the most interesting animals that you can encounter during your visit to El Yunque include the Puerto Rican parrot and the coqui frog. You can also take a dip in a natural pool after finishing the Angelito trail, which is a popular hiking area in Puerto Rico. You can visit the Yokahu Observation Tower to get a closer look at the park’s magnificent views of the ocean and rainforest.

Surf at Bathsheba Beach

One of the best surfing spots in the Caribbean can be found on Barbados’ eastern shore. This area is characterized by its beautiful white sand beach and is surrounded by jagged rock formations. While watching skilled surfers compete in the waves, you can also take photos of this region’s untouched landscape. You can then combine your visit to this area with a stop in St. Joseph, which is a fishing village that serves up Caribbean dishes and rum shops.

Explore the Chacchoben Ruins

You’ll be exploring a historical and cultural site when you visit Mexico’s famous Chacchoben Ruins. This ancient city, which is located outside of Costa Maya, dates back to 200 B.C. and features structures such as temples, pyramids, and large courtyards that served as the sites of Mayan ceremonies. You can also visit this area and explore its surroundings by taking in the views of its various structures.

Trek to Dunn’s River Falls

In Jamaica, one of the most popular natural wonders is the Dunn’s River Falls, which is situated outside Ocho Rios. This terraced waterfall is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys hiking and exploring the area. You can start your adventure by going on a path that leads up the side of the falls, or take a more challenging route up the waterfall’s steps. A dip in one of the area’s natural pools will provide you with a refreshing end to your day.

View Island Wildlife at Habitation Latouche

You’ll be able to encounter a wide variety of animals on the grounds of a historic mansion in Martinique, which is known as the oldest house in the country. This area features a zoological park where you can see various species such as monkeys, birds, and pumas.

Stroll through the gardens and pathways of the estate to admire the animals and discover the area’s unique flora and fauna. The Anse Latouche River and the historic main house are also included in the list of attractions.

Get Misted by the Dark View Waterfall

A pair of waterfall treasures are located in St. Vincent in the Grenadine Islands. Embark on a leisurely 15-minute walk through a tropical landscape and experience the thundering falls while traversing a bamboo grove. Finally, you can experience an exciting adventure by crossing the Richmond River through a bridge.

After visiting the first waterfall, you’ll need to go to the second one to enjoy the refreshing waters. The natural pools at the base of the falls offer the perfect place to cool off. You’ll feel like you’re in another world as the falls overtop the cliffs are surrounded by vibrant vegetation.

Explore Natural Bridge Ruins

Situated 25 feet above the sea, this natural formation is located on Aruba’s northern shore. The structures, which are made of coral limestone, used to be the top of an ancient cave. The Arikok National Park was established in the area and features natural bridges that were built as a result of erosion.

Although the original structure of the bridge collapsed in 2005, a baby bridge can still be found in the area. Take in the views from this natural formation and experience the waves as you walk the trail.
