Free Download from Chile’s Discos Pegaos: Pegamentos Vol 1
03 September, 2013A new portal into Chilean house music has opened with the launch of Pegamentos Vol. 1, the first in a series of compilation albums and EPs dedicated to showcasing the best of Chile’s rapidly expanding electronic music scene. The 5-track release features producers and musicians whose scope stretches into other musical genres but who are firmly focused on four-beats and synthetic composition here. Crossing from disco house (Tonoseppia’s ‘Nostalgia de un Dancin’) into darker, more minimal areas (‘El Mal Menor’ from Dementira), this provides a brief but sweetly selective taster of Chile’s house sound. Released on the dance music label Discos Pegaos, with a write up in English, Pegamentos Vol. 1 is available here as a free download.
