LA LOM at the Jazz Café, London

By 01 August, 2025

Ladies and gentlemen, will you welcome please, from Los Angeles… LA LOM!

The Los Angeles League of Musicians (or LA LOM, as they are known and loved) will be appearing at the Jazz Café in Camden Town on August 20th ahead of the release – on Verve Records, no less – of their album, Live at Thalia Hall, on September 12th. The League, a trio of guitar, drums and double bass, play a dynamic mash-up of Peruvian chicha, Colombian cumbia and Mexican bolero, no doubt with other genres and sub-genres thrown into the mix as they perform. I’m sorry to announce that the show is a sell-out, but here’s a sneak preview of the album, recorded at Chicago’s Thalia Hall. So, give it up one more time for Zac Sokolow on guitar, Jake Faulkner on the bass fiddle, and Nicholas Baker on drums…
