12″ vinyl featuring reworkings of two tracks by Peruvian group, Los Shapis. They are a group who put Andean melodies (i.e. huayno) at the centre of the Peruvian cumbia sound, leading it towards the sound we now know as chicha.

On this release, the first from Berlin-based label Eck Echo, Tribilín Sound & Rolo Gallardo (of Bareto) and Los Wawis both rework classic tracks by the group, given that cumbia sound extra disco and dub goodness.
