Majoo Salguero y Ruffy’s ‘Ritmo En El Itsmo’ Central American Mixtape

By | 24 August, 2018

We simply had to post this mix of tasty Central American sounds from Majoo Salguero and Ruffy. From two truly dedicated crate diggers, this is a mix full of glorious tropical rhythms from across Central America, taking in music from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.

It’s a mix that revels in picking out rare and obscure tracks, with 45 and LP cuts from groups including Grupo Sacrificio, Poder del Alma, Crema Púrpura, Hierro, Grupo Africans, Los Hermanos Cortez, Bocaraca, Cesar y Cesar and Marfil. If you want to delve deeper into the sounds of Central America in the 60s and 70s then this is the place.
