A creative guitar orchestra concert was held at Jalapeño Casino in Mexico

Recently, the local casino “Jalapeño” held a concert of a children’s guitar orchestra. Students from the Children’s Music Dedication Center of the University of Veracruzana (CIMI) performed as part of the “Children in Music” event, which the Veracruz Education Secretariat and the Jalapa Guitar Orchestra organized.
According to Miguel Angel Ramirez Gonzalez, the director of the Guitar Orchestra, hosting CIMI students as guests will raise the musical education of young performers and popularize this art form among minors.
Why was a casino chosen as the performance venue?
Many people may be confused by the fact that the concert was given exactly in the casino Jalapeño. However, in fact, this venue is only one of several that became the venue for the “Children in Music” event. In addition, concerts were held in one of the local Institute of Ecology classrooms and in the Academic Department of Humanities.
The Jalapeño casino, which opened in the century before last, is now defunct and a venue for various exhibitions and other events, including children’s concerts.
