You can go online for all sorts of things these days, from looking up business related services such as Kiasu Print or Mandreel through to check on local festivities and events. When you go online, you will find a wide variety of cultural events taking place in London, and one of these is the CASA Latin America Festival, which takes place annually and is always a great hit. In this article, we will take a closer look at this popular festival.

More About the CASA Festival in London

Every year, this festival draws in big crowds and fills the city with Latin America flavors, sights, and sounds. This year, the event is set to take place in mid-July, kicking off officially on 16th of the month. The festival will launch with an opening party held at the Arcola Theater. Visitors can then enjoy a range of Latin American theatrical performances designed to entertain and educate. The tickets for the event can be purchased online.

There will be two weeks of performances and entertainment in all as part of the 2019 festival, and over recent weeks organizers and performers have been getting themselves geared up for the excitement and entertainment ahead. While this is an annual festival, the organizers said they did take a break last year, which means that this year’s show will be the first since 2017. As such, the organizers want to make it bigger and better than ever before, which means all hands on deck.

There will be all sorts of activities and events for those attending to look forward to as part of this year’s festival. In addition to the excellent performances that the festival has become known for, there will also be parties, workshops, talks, and live musical entertainment to enjoy. Officials involved with organizing the festival also spoke about its future, adding that they hope to expand and take it beyond just London in the future. This will make it easier for people in other cities to also experience the thrill and excitement of this fabulous festival.

Reflecting the Growing Latin American Community in London

The event goes back to 2007, when it was founded by Daniel Goldman who has now stepped down as the artistic director. Over recent years, the Latin American population in London has been on the rise, which has helped to boost the popularity of this festival. In fact, one official said that the Latin American community in London was now the fastest growing migrant population and the 8th largest ethnic minority throughout London.
