La Dame Blanche Releases New Video for ‘Bajo El Mismo Cielo’
05 July, 2019One year ago La Dame Blanche released her third album Bajo El Mismo Cielo via Nacional Records (US), Jarring Effects (FR) and Terrícolas Imbeciles (MX). She followed that up with videos for “No Da Para Na” and “No Puedo Loco” that were filmed in her native Cuba. It’s no exaggeration to say that she has been busy, also performing and playing shows around the world, including trips to Canada, USA, India, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
At the end of May she followed all of that up with a new video lyric for the title track from her last album, “Bajo El Mismo Cielo”. The track was produced by La Dame Blanche and Babylotion and the music has an influence of flamenco mixed with a urban vibe, though she is careful never to lose the style she is known for. On the vocals she collaborated with Sergio Aguilera, a musician from Coria del Rio, Spain. François Thevenet – an illustrator from France but living in Buenos Aires, Argentina – made the minimalist video, which focuses on his drawings and use of bright colours.
Now, La Dame Blanche is working on a new album that will be released in the winter. She will also be touring Mexico in October 2019.
