PREMIÈRE: Mexican Singer Charly Gynn Teams Up with Ma Fuego and Lukrø
24 March, 2021Released by Lima-based label Matraca, the new song by Mexican singer and breakthrough MC Charly Gynn, “Taka Taka”, is a bass heavy dembow with reggae dub elements and a hard-hitting classic reggaeton drum pattern; it’s produced by Veracruz-born Ma Fuego and Peruvian artist Lukrø.
The video uses graphical references of 3D videogame GTA, generated by Yorbi Herrera and edited by DUBJAM HIGH, showing the singer and producers taking a private plane ride to do a show for a secret party in a hidden location on a post-apocalyptic dessert somewhere in Mexico.
