M.A.K.U. Soundsystem plays Germany & Denmark

By 01 July, 2015

New York City’s M.A.K.U. Soundsystem are bringing their “immigrant beats” to Europe this week. The octet, which specializes in Afrocolombian folkloric and funk, is on their “Inevitable Tour,” and have played a string of dates in Hamburg, Germany, ending with a show tonight at the historic RotaFlora musical theatre. On the 3rd, they’ll take the stage at one of the largest outdoor musical events in Europe, the Roskilde Festival in Denmark. They’ve even recorded a couple of brand new song at Studio Longboard in Hamburg.

Follow the band’s adventures on Facebook, or on Instagram, where band members, Liliana Conde, aka, Lana Baja (vocals, percussion), and Moris Cañate (tambor alegre), are updating frequently.

Happy again! With some bikes and graffiti 😁… #GraciasHamburgo #MAKUinevitabletour
