New Wenceslada video Nomade

PREMIÈRE: Wenceslada’s Latest Video Offers A Harmonious Trip Underground

By 24 February, 2017

Words like serene, soothing and tranquil seem to gravitate towards Wenceslada, the Argentine singer and songwriter whose Niebla and Niebla Versiones albums proposed a different vision of modern life. Between the cracks and fissures of our urban reality she strained to find the beauty in the shadows, in taking a moment out of busy schedules to find a moment of personal reflection.

This continues on her latest video, “Nómade”, which shows Wenceslada taking a quiescent walk through the underground of what looks to us like the Metrovías, Buenos Aires’ subway. In her usual style, a walk through this usually-chaotic environment becomes an intimate, fantastical wandering, devoid of tension or disruption.

The video was directed by Lluís Miras Vega and Ale Star. “Nómade” is featured on Niebla, an album that has since given birth to a follow-up, Niebla Versiones.
