Bixiga 70 Start European Tour On Thursday

Those lucky enough to have seen Brazilian afrobeat/disco/funk band Bixiga 70 live will know that few other groups match them for sheer energy and grooves. The band, armed with an incredible horn section, a lively-as-hell bank of percussion, and with bass, guitar and keyboards, manages to distil everything that’s great about afrobeat, funk, Ethiojazz and spiritual music into a glorious union of sound.

If you haven’t been lucky enough to see the band before then now’s your chance, as the group will be touring across Europe and Brazil this summer, taking in the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and Portugal along the way. Check out the tour dates below for the full details:
