Macaco Bong — Shift
20 September, 2010Macaco Bong, from Cuiabá in Brazil, are a hard-rocking power trio, with a deep sense of melody. There is a strange thing that comes over you as you listen to their music as you forget just how hard they are playing and get taken into this rip-roaring rollercoaster where you can do nothing but listen. Here is their video for “Shift”, one of their harder tunes, complete with a narrative about a singer calling up to offer their services, and the band proving that they really don’t need a singer!
