London’s Latin American Street Food Extravaganza ‘Comida Fest’ Returns For Second Year

By 12 June, 2017

After filling many a London belly with quality Latin American food last year, Comida Fest are back for another series of free events this summer, with weekends of Latin American cuisine coming to Greenwich, Tower Bridge and Putney in July, August and September.

The Greenwich edition will kick off on 8th July with a wide selection of street food from across Latin America (including Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Venezuela, etc.), as well as musical performances dedicated to Frida Kahlo, who would have been 110 years old on that weekend, on the Saturday, and a tango show and Argentine music on the Sunday due to it being on Argentine independence day. Those performances will form part of a cultural programme that includes activities for adults and children, and will run alongside the food programme at each weekend.
