Party Havana-Style in London with Maykel Blanco y su Salsa Mayor (+ Mixtape)
11 June, 2014One of Havana’s finest live bands, Maykel Blanco y su Salsa Mayor, will be making their London debut on Saturday 21st June for what promises to be a scorching evening of Cuban music in Brixton.
Maykel Blanco has released seven albums with various groups, but it’s with his timba big band Salsa Mayor that he really turns up the heat. For this show expect to hear hits such as “Recoge y vete”, “Esto está”, “Cimarrón”, “Que tengo” and “Anda y Pégate”, all of which will be dripping with passion, moves and perspiration!
