O Melhor dos Mundos EP from Tanpura

Here’s a new EP from Brazilian band Tanpura. First track “De Peito Aberto” really reminds us of Mary Hopkin’s “Those Were The Days”, it has that same jaunty Russian feel. Second track “Amanhoje” has a strong half “Hey Bulldog” / half “Day In The Life” style so we’re presuming these guys are big fans of The Beatles. Which is never a bad band to be fond of!

Essentially, this is really strong pop with a slight psychedelic edge and we can’t wait to hear more of the same from these guys!
