The New Sounds of Lido Pimienta
13 April, 2012Lido Pimienta has been keeping a relatively low profile since dropping “Mueve” and the Color EP a couple of years back. Currently based in Toronto she has been focusing on both her art and her next musical move. Not wanting to repeat the formula she established on her previous releases, she is looking to try and find something different, as reflected in these two new tracks featuring Canadian trombonist Steve Ward (Caribou, Minotaurs, Pick A Piper), recorded live in December 2011 at The Music Gallery in Toronto:
