WWE plans to record footage at Bruno Mars’ Las Vegas concert
01 May, 2026The world’s largest professional wrestling promotion, WWE, is reportedly preparing to capture footage at pop star Bruno Mars’ performance at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. WWE’s production crew is expected to be on-site Friday and Saturday; however, details are being kept under wraps.
Insider reports, no official confirmation
Information about the planned filming emerged via WrestleVotes Radio sources, who posted the details on Fightful Select. This outlet specializes in leaks and insider reports from the world of professional wrestling and is often accurate. Note that this is source-based reporting, not an official statement from WWE or the artist’s team.
Neither WWE nor Mars’ representatives have commented on the situation yet. In the entertainment industry, such collaborations between sports brands and musicians are fairly common, but until there’s confirmation, it remains rumor and speculation.
A two-night stop on The Romantic Tour at Allegiant Stadium
Bruno Mars has scheduled two back-to-back concerts as part of his The Romantic Tour. The artist will perform at Allegiant Stadium on Friday and Saturday, and the tour features large-scale stadium shows that reflect where he is in his career. Allegiant Stadium, with a capacity of over 65,000, is known as the home of the Las Vegas Raiders and regularly hosts the biggest entertainment events.
That choice makes sense. Las Vegas has long been the unofficial capital of crossover projects where sports, music, and entertainment overlap, and the company has repeatedly used the city for promotional campaigns and special events.
For Bruno himself, the venue choice also looks interesting in light of recent rumors of a major casino loss. Reports alleged that the singer lost about $50 million at a casino and owed it to MGM Resorts International. The company itself later denied the report, and Bruno Mars has joked about the situation.
However, the story was widely believed, because scandals involving celebrities and gambling are increasingly common. This is largely due to the accessibility of gambling entertainment thanks to online casinos. We saw this while reviewing the offerings of modern online casinos while preparing the article. We found that players have access to thousands of slots, table games, arcade games, and live dealer games, which have become especially popular. According to data on the Lightning Storm game page here, the modern live dealer format combines a flashy presentation with simple rules. Faster rounds can lead players to spend more. So reports of huge celebrity losses look plausible.
But in Bruno Mars’ case, “plausible” doesn’t mean “true.” The singer has been tongue-in-cheek about it at concerts, and in Las Vegas he likely won’t miss the chance to bring it up.
Why WWE would bring cameras to the concert remains unclear
Despite the emergence of insider information, the purpose of the filming remains unknown. There are plenty of unanswered questions:
- What form the footage is planned to take
- Which broadcast or platform the recording is intended for
- Whether the content will be shown on upcoming episodes of Raw, SmackDown, or on a streaming service
- Whether the project is tied to promoting a specific Superstar or is part of a broader marketing campaign
None of these details have been confirmed, and therefore it’s too early to draw firm conclusions. Perhaps it’s a short video package for a future pay-per-view, or perhaps something entirely different.
Bruno Mars and WrestleMania 42 are in different locations
Bruno Mars’ appearance at WrestleMania 42 isn’t expected—not due to lack of interest, but because of a simple scheduling conflict. On the same days that the year’s biggest wrestling show will take place in Texas, The Romantic Tour moves to Globe Life Field in Arlington. An interesting coincidence: both venues are in the same state, but are being used for completely different events.
The distance between Las Vegas and Arlington is about 1,900 km, and he can’t be in two places at once. Thus, filming at the concert on Friday and Saturday likely represents the only overlap between the two entertainment worlds this weekend.
