A celebration of Milton Nascimento’s Clube da Esquina
12 July, 2023On Sunday 23rd July at London’s Jazz Café, Gui Tavares’ band of expatriate Brazilian musicians – gathered together as the Santa Tereza Band – will be celebrating an album that was once voted by Rolling Stone as the 7th best Brazilian album EVER!, Milton Nascimento and Lô Borges’ influential double album of 1972, Clube da Esquina. There’s a guest appearance from the samba-funky Aleh Ferreira, too. Here’s a little something to whet your appetite…
