Céu Releases ‘Corpocontinente’, New Video From Upcoming Album ‘APKA!’
04 June, 2020Brazilian musician Céu is back with a new single, from forthcoming album APKÁ!. Chugging, dare we say “anthemic”, guitars, are added to Céu’s usual palette of deep dub-influenced bass lines and bright electronic textures, as she sings of love and distance in a video directed by Rodrigo Saavedra that is part short film.
APKÁ! is Céu’s follow-up to 2016’s Tropix and was released in Brazil last year, with a forthcoming international release on Six Degrees Records on 26th June. The album will feature contributions from Caetano Veloso, Dinho, Seu Jorge, Leonardo Matumona, Marc Ribot and others.
