Let Drum Beat Release First Video from Upcoming Debut

By 29 November, 2019

London-based Afro Brazilian percussion group Let Drum Beat are preparing for a busy 2020 with a first video from their forthcoming debut album Lua Cheia.

“Forró dos Elementos” is a gorgeous rabeca-led forró whose connection with the elements is made visual in the video, which was filmed and edited by Theo Albanis, and set in an autumn woods.

As with the group’s music the vibe is simple, but so on point, with harmony, rhythm and soulfulness at the core of what they do. We can’t wait to hear the rest of Lua Cheia when it’s released in early 2020.

If you want to see the group live, they will be playing songs from their upcoming album at St Mary’s Church in Walthamstow on December 5th 2019. More details on that event here.
