FIRST WATCH/COMPETITION: New Acoustic Da Lata Video + WIN Tickets to London Show

By 15 February, 2017

Fancy listening to London’s Brazilian groovers Da Lata in a stripped-down acoustic format? Well your wish is our command, as here is an exclusive video of the group playing one of the highlights from their debut album Songs From The Tin. Titled “O Mago e a Borboleta”, here’s the group to explain what the song is all about:

A song written after having spent time in the Mata Atlantic rainforest between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. More than 85% of it has been destroyed in Brazil. Needless to say it needs protecting and is one of the most beautiful and magical places on earth. The power of nature you feel there is breathtaking. This song is inspired by the magnificent blue butterfly which lives in the forest, representing the spirit, energy and enchantment of this special place.

And, if that wasn’t enough, we’ve also got a pair of tickets to giveaway for their upcoming show at the Hideaway in London on March 4th. It will be a great chance to see Da Lata in their new format with two female lead singers, Vanessa Freeman and Adriana Vasques. You can find out more about the show at hideawaylive.co.uk/da-lata-plus-dj-patrick-forge-saturday-4th-march-2017
