Get Deep Into Santiago’s Underground Dance Scene With First Club Sauna Compilation

By 23 October, 2015

Steamy, acidic, underground, naughty, alternative. Those are some of the adjectives to depict Club Sauna events in Santiago, the ongoing parties that are labelled as an “anything can happen” kind of celebration, where the audience is both crazy and diverse.

Their randomly chosen locations that go from clandestine clubs to small bars and raves on the open air, have received artists like Atom TM, Valesuchi, Carisma, MKRNI, Vicente Sanfuentes and Inti Kunza. With three years on the move, you can tell hosts Andrea Paz, Roman and Diegors, really know how to throw a party.

Good thing is that, finally, there’s a soundtrack to it all. Released by the recently-founded Discos Pato Carlos imprint, it features electronic music producers from Argentina, Colombia and of course, Chile. Starting with the deep tribal percussion affair by Sano & C. A. Ramirez on “El Weón” and the synth pop anthem “Te Espera” by Atacama, the music gets darker on tracks like “Baterista Interno” by DJs Pareja and “Black Yoga” from Al Qaedans.

On top of that, the compilation is free for everyone to grab it, available in portable MP3 format and also in high quality WAV for those who are wanting to taste some of Santiago’s summer dancefloor heat
