Planta Carnívora & Adrianigual “Maracanaso”
30 June, 2014Forget Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez. Forget Shakira too! Even forget “Desculpa Neymar” and MC Guime. The best World Cup song has come from Chile and it’s by Planta Carnívora and Adrianigual. We have to admit that Planta Carnívora is a new one on us but quick research shows that she’s a rapper from Santiago with a fine line in home-made recordings. For “Maracanaso” she has teamed up with the electro-pop musician Adrianigual for this tongue-in-cheek World Cup tribute. Though Chile’s elimination from the tournament makes this a little bittersweet, the song still stands up. Give it a listen right here:
