RAKTA To Tour Europe in November and December

Experimental Brazilian group RAKTA, whose last release, Oculto Pelos Seres, was one of our biggest revelations of 2017, will be touring Europe in November and December this year.

RAKTA have been releasing records since 2013 with a number of albums and EPs coming out on labels in Brazil, England and the US. The group’s sound is hard to pin down. A 3-piece, they create hypnotic swirls of rhythmic noise brimming with rage and deceptive melodies. Their music has echoes of Killing Joke, Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Cure’s Disintegration, but also sounds like none of those things too, their drum and synth-led sound finding a place between noise, post-punk and experimental gothic.

On their European tour they will be playing shows in the UK, Germany, France, Belgium, Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. Full tour dates are below:
