Rough Trade Nottingham To Host Evening Focused On São Paulo 1969

On Friday May 27th Rough Trade Nottingham will host an event exploring the music and arts of Brazil in the late 60s, especially looking at the role of São Paulo. The event will be organised by Truth and Lies and will feature a selection of short films followed by a talk by Sounds and Colours’ Russ Slater about the explosion of tropicália, and finally Brazilian music ’til late with a fine selection of DJs.

Entitled Truth and Lies Presents: ‘Revolution & Change’ – São Paulo, 1969, the event will take place on May 27th from 7.00pm until 11pm at Rough Trade Nottingham, 5 Broad Street, Nottingham, NG1 3AJ.
