Sounds and Colours Brazil Talk in Nottingham

By 26 March, 2014

On Wednesday 2nd April, Sounds and Colours’ editor Russell Slater will be giving a talk in Nottingham about the Sounds and Colours Brazil book and CD.

Using music and images, the talk will aim to show another side of Brazilian music and culture, that goes far beyond bossa nova, City of God and football, exploring contemporary music, literature, arts and film in depth.

The talk will cost £3 on the door (and includes a free can of Guaraná), with the entrance fee redeemable against any purchase. This means your £3 entrance fee will be discounted when you buy a copy of the Sounds and Colours Brazil book/CD.

You can find out more about the Brazil book at soundsandcolours.com/issues/sounds-and-colours-brazil

The event will be happening at Five Leaves Bookshop in Nottingham city centre on Wednesday 2nd April at 7.30pm. You can find out more about the event at fiveleavesbookshop.co.uk/events
