DeMentira releases his Chimpancé EP
28 January, 2011A glorious beats-laden mix of electronica and hip-hop from Chile’s DeMentira on this, his Chimpancé EP, released by Discos Pegaos at the start of 2011. This is forward-thinking music that also references pop and dubstep, and should be little surprise coming from Chile, where there currently is such an incredible underground movement. DeMentira himself, has recently collaborated with Gepe and Javiera Mena on a remix of their “Lienza” track, the two of which have been regular fixtures in all of the Best Of 2010 lists coming from Latin America.
The release has come out on Discos Pegaos, a new Chilean record label dedicated to electronica, which is also home to artists such as Motivado and Vaskular.
