“Eco Hip Hop” from Chile’s Emone Skillz

By 15 February, 2012

Emone Skillz, a rapper from Santiago de Chile, has returned to music after taking a  “spiritual” journey of over 4 years. Once a key member of the famous Chilean hip hop group, Cuarto Universo, Emone Skillz has launched a comeback solo career in a genre he refers to as “Eco Hip Hop.”

“Uno más bajo el Sol” is the lead single off the album Somos Arboles, which is set to be released in early April 2012. The video portrays the artist stumbling through a desert, narrating his fight to make it home before the sun goes down, as he describes his inner connection with nature.

“For me its very important that its a success, its m first video and it represents my return to the rap scene after a spiritual journey that I took for some 4 years,” says Emone Skillz.
